Xbox Enters The Building Like a Boss

Xbox Enters The Building Like a Boss

A lot of good news for Xbox lately. The big reason for that is not only Phil Spencer but the entire Xbox Team. They’ve been working around the clock to make our experiences a better one. Whether it’s the partnerships with Square Enix and Kojima Productions or the newly released Xbox dashboard which is a step in the right direction for the brand. It doesn’t stop there though.

Having Final Fantasy return with one of the biggest MMOs going in its ’14’ entry is a big thumbs up from ourselves and every Final Fantasy fan out there that prefers playing on an Xbox. If we can get others on the platform down the line as well as more Japanese support. It just goes to show that for anyone that likes Xbox, it is a viable platform for this kind of content. I think the interest is going to be pretty high.

It’s not about anyone else dropping the ball either. I’ve always felt that when it comes to third-party publishers, particularly Japanese games of any sort. It’s just too big of a geographic to not have on your platform. Xbox might not do well in Asia, but having that content on there accessible benefits those who would like to access it in multiple ways as well as Game Pass.

Obviously, it’s not just the Japanese that enjoy these games. They’re very big worldwide and you need that in your arsenal when you have a service like Game Pass for catalog diversity. So expect more partnerships like this one in the future.

When I say partnerships as well, I don’t think anything is off the table here. Now that Activision is pretty much settled. There is an appetite from the Xbox Team to get to work on other things. So don’t be surprised to see Xbox really grow as they’re really focusing on the experience right now. They’re probably walking into every building like Kiryu with a suitcase full of cash.
