The top five games that caught my attention at The Game Awards. We won’t include the first one I mentioned previously.
There have been a lot of great games showcased to us this year. One that seriously caught my attention though was Last Sentinel. So what do we actually know about it? Well, it’s set decades into the future in a Tokyo setting. It’s narrative focused, and is an open world action game.
Personally, I love the setting and I like the ambition of the game. Even though, we don’t know much about it as yet. It’s number one on my most anticipated. A promising AAA open world action game from a studio headed up by Rockstar and Criterion veteran Steve C. Interesting right?
The next one is Exodus. It has one of my favourite actors in the lead role. It basically takes inspiration from Mass Effect. I mean what is not like here? It has big boots to fill. The spotlight will be on it to see if it can replicate the success of the franchise we all know and love in Mass Effect. This game very much has its own identity.
Blade. This is from the same studio that brought us the incredible Dishonored and Deathloop. It’s not the same studio as the Redfall team. It’s going to be third-person. A win for Xbox.
Hideo Kojima making a new game for Xbox? What reality are we living in? I am very excited for the potential of this horror based game that will be utilising cloud technology.
Light No Fire promises to deliver a multi-player experience. Allowing you to roam around on Earth doing whatever you want. Creating your own journey and story.
Ori developers Moon Studios have created a new action RPG.
