It’s interesting how the hype around Stellar Blade has gotten quite big. There was that slip up with the demo and Sony had to patch it before anyone else could play the game. Personally, I don’t like that. Just let people play, unless it’s too early, then I understand. What I will say though, I really like the things I am hearing about Stellar Blade. This is a big claim but I think it’s going to be better than Rise of the Ronan.
I’ll be playing Rise of the Ronan. It seems a bit too similar to Ghost of Tsushima and probably smaller in scope from what I’m hearing. I think it’s ambitious because Team Ninja hasn’t done this sort of game before. I think it’ll be interesting how it reflects that and whether it can match the other game or if it’s ambitious based from Team Ninja’s scale only.
Getting back to the point though, I’m looking forward to Stellar Blade and the Nier-like game-play that it’s going to be offering but even more brutal. I think that’s going to satisfy an itch especially with no Nier in sight. Not to say that I’m not hyped about Rise of the Ronan but my expectations are in check. However, Stellar Blade has my hype and I have every reason for that to be valid. Especially based on everything we’ve learned this past week.
