Make Or Break For Ubisoft?

Ubisoft is a publisher pretty close to my heart. I’ve always loved their games. Especially Assassin’s Creed. With the rumours swirling that Ubisoft could be bought out sometime down the line. Is the next Assassin’s Creed the one game they need to do incredibly well? I think it is.

I am sick of all the buyouts as much as the next person. However, they’re going to continue because the industry is in a state of transition. I am hoping that the next Assassin’s Creed does really well for Ubisoft. After all, they’ve lost their way a little bit. The awesome thing about the next Assassin’s Creed is that it’s going to be bringing back the modern story.

Back in the days of early Assassin’s Creed. We all know that Desmond was the main focus point and that will be coming back. Not Desmond himself, of course, not. A new protagonist for that modern story. For me personally, I am excited to see where they go with it, and I am going to be even more intrigued by how it does for Ubisoft based on all the well-documented issues they’ve been having lately.
